His Eminence Archbishop Irénée visited Sts Peter and Paul Sobor (Montréal) and led the patronal feast Services on July 11th (Vigil) and July 12th (Divine Liturgy).

Earlier, on Pascha celebrations, Fr. Gleb Melnyk had been rewarded by the Golden Cross for his 10-year service at the Throne of God. During the Divine Liturgy on July 12th Vladyka Irénée gave the Cross to Fr. Gleb.

His Eminence Archbishop Irénée visited a number of different communities on a recent trip to British Columbia:

• All Saints of Alaska Church, Victoria (Fr Kyle Parrot)
• St Alexander Nevsky Mission, Victoria (Fr Evgeniy Prokhin)
• Holy Apostles Barnabas Mission, Comox (Fr Alexis Nikkel)
• Holy Transfiguration Monastery (Fr Gregory, Fr Samuel and Monk Moses) in Lone Butte
• Divine Liturgy for Ascension at Holy Apostles Church, Chilliwack (Fr Matthew Francis)

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Archpriest Nicolas Boldireff fell asleep in the Lord at age 78 after a long illness.  He had been a priest of the Orthodox Church in America, serving parishes in both the United States and Canada, for more than half a century.
