Community Background
In 1995, the brotherhood began in Halifax as a metochion of the St Seraphim of Sarov Monastic Community (Québec). In 2003 the monks relocated to the present location as Hermitage of the Holy Annunciation. On September 1st, 2010 the Hermitage was established as an independent entity.
