In Memoriam: Deacon Horia Roscanu

Deacon Horia Roscanu fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2024, after over two years battling cancer.  Ordained to the diaconal ministry a year ago, he was serving the French-speaking parish Saint Benoît de Nursie in Montréal.

Friends will be received on Friday January 25th from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the  Lajeunesse Fortin Cenac Funeral Home, 3535 boul Levesque East, Laval.

The Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 27th, presided by His Eminence, Archbishop Irénée at 9:30 am at Saint Benoit de Nursie, 807 Sainte Croix, St Laurent, Québec.

Interment will take place at Mid Laurentian Cemetery 3245 4e Avenue, Rawdon at 12:00. 

Following the interment there will be a light lunch at the l’Église orthodoxe de la Vuerge de Diveyevo hallm 3253 4e Avenue.
