Father Deacon Alexander Treiger and Samuel Noble have released the first ever anthology of early Arabic Orthodox Christian texts.

At the invitation of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the First-Hierarchs of all the Orthodox Autocephalous Churches will gather from March 6-9, 2014, for a Sacred Synaxis at the Phanar in order to deliberate on matters pertaining to the entire Orthodox Church throughout the world and procedural issues for the convocation of the Holy and Great Council, whose preparation is coming to an end.

On Sunday March 2, 2014, His Grace Irénée, Bishop of Quebec City, Administrator of Archdiocese of Canada, ordained Deacon John Gryba to the Holy Priesthood. The Ordination took place during the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of the Expulsion of Adam from Paradise (Cheesefare), at Annunciation Orthodox Cathedral in Ottawa. Axios! Axios! In a letter dated February 20, 2014 addressed to His Beatitude, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon offered words of support and prayers on behalf of the bishops, clergy, monastics and faithful of the Orthodox Church in America in the wake of the escalating crisis gripping Ukraine.
