On August 19, 2013 His Grace Bishop Irénée visited Holy Transfiguration Church in Star, AB for the celebration of the parish’s 100th Anniversary. His Grace was welcomed for Divine Liturgy by rector Archpriest Nikolai Nikolaev along with Igumen Gerasim (Power), Priest Daniel Friesen and Deacon Jesse Isaac. After Divine Liturgy, the Lesser Blessing of Waters was held followed by a blessing and procession around the church.

On August 17, 2013, His Grace Bishop Irénée visited Holy Transfiguration Church in North Bank, AB where he celebrated Divine Liturgy commemorating the 60th anniversary of the parish. Concelebrating with His Grace were rector Igumen Gerasim (Power), Archpriest Nikolai Nikolaev and Deacon Jesse Isaac. After the Divine Liturgy, the Lesser Blessing of Waters was performed and the church and faithful were blessed during a procession around the building. A reception and lunch was then held in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the parish.

Hundreds of parishioners of St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Church in Richmond Hill, Ontario celebrated their Patronal Feast on August 4, 2013.
His Grace Irénée, Bishop of Quebec, Administrator of the Archdiocese of Canada brought the relics (netlennye moshchi) and belt of Saint John (Maximovitch) of Shanghai and San Francisco for veneration and served a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy.
Concelebrating with His Grace were the Parish Rector, Priest Alexei Vassiouchkine, and Archpriest Vasyl Kolega, Rector of Christ the Saviour Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Toronto.

On Sunday, July 28, the All-Diocesan St. Vladimir’s Day Celebrations were held at St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ. The celebrations were organized by the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Church Abroad, and dedicated to the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus’ and the 75th anniversary of the church’s founding. Clergy who came to the celebrations from America, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus greeted His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad.

On Saturday, July 27, on the eve of the feast day of the Holy Grand Prince Vladimir, Equal-of-the-Apostles, the national celebrations at St. Vladimir Memorial Church began with the All-Night Vigil, led by His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion.

Prior to the beginning of Vigil, the clergy triumphally greeted two wonderworking icons of the Mother of God – the Kursk Root Icon (Protectress of the Russian Diaspora) and the Pochaev Icon (brought from Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY). The third, myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon – arrived later.

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, was among the Primates and representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches who concelebrated at the Divine Liturgy with His Holiness, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, at Christ the Savior Cathedral here on July 24, 2013. The Liturgy opened a three-part commemoration of the 1025th Anniversary of the Baptism of Rus’ that will be marked with similar celebrations in Kyiv, Ukraine and Minsk, Belarus.
