Archdiocese of Canada Clergy Synaxis

On August 21, 2013 the Archdiocese of Canada held a Clergy Synaxis in conjunction with the Archdiocesan Assembly which begins on August 22.

The Synaxis was attended by His Beatitude Tikhon, Metropolitan of all America and Canada, His Grace Bishop Irénée, Administrator of the Archdiocese of Canada, Archpriest John Jillions, Chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America, Archpriest Anatoly Melnyk, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Canada and other visiting and Archdiocesan clergy.

The day began with Divine Liturgy celebrated by Bishop Irénée and various clergy from across the Archdiocese.  Afterwards, a session entitled "Healthy Boundaries and Relations with the Faithful in a contemporary context" was conducted by Archpriest Ion Pac-Urar as part of the Clergy Continuing Education requirement which was recently passed by the Holy Synod of Bishops.
