Archdiocesan Council Meets in Rawdon, QC

Archbishop Irénée met with the regional deans and other elected members of archdiocesan council in Rawdon, Québec on Tuesday 24 October and Wednesday 25 October.
The council meeting began with a molieben in the recently acquired and refurbished chapel of the Mother of God of Diveevo where the parish of St Seraphim of Rawdon meets for worship. A Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Wednesday morning.
Council discussions focused on reviewing the 2023 Archdiocesan Assembly held in Châteauguay, planning for future assemblies, coordinating support for the impoverished Diocese of Alaska, and meeting the mission and educational needs for a growing diocese.
