Like many other Orthodox Churches across the Archdiocese, St. Nicholas of Narol has been growing and growing and growing with people seeking a greater and more profound encounter with a saving love of God. Truly this growth has been a blessing beyond words, especially considering that St. Nicholas is by definition a "rural" parish, situated about 20 min North of Winnipeg. The challenge is that the community has outgrown its current space. 

His Eminence Archbishop Irénée, the regional deans, and other members of the archdiocesan council met in Halifax, NS on 28 and 29 April. St Vladimir's parish hosted meetings and provided hospitality to all the delegates.

Le dimanche des Rameaux, le 13 avril 2025, Son Éminence Mgr Irénée a célébré la Divine Liturgie au Sobor Saints-Pierre-et-Paul de Montréal.

Le premier dimanche du Grand Carême, nous célébrons le triomphe de l'orthodoxie sur l'iconoclasme, par la destruction des icônes religieuses dans l'église. Lors des offices de ce week-end, nous avons commémoré la restauration des icônes destinées à nos services et à la vie privée des chrétiens orthodoxes. Les fidèles des paroisses centenaires de l'Alberta se sont réunis pour célébrer cette fête à l'église de la Nativité de la Sainte Vierge à Kysylew-Andrew.
