Son Éminence, l'archevêque Irénée, et les membres du Conseil archidiocésain se sont réunis à Rawdon le 8 et 9 octobre.

C'était la première fois que plusieurs des membres du conseil se réunissaient à Rawdon. Tout le monde a déclaré que cette réunion avait été une réussite, dans un lieu exceptionnel. La météo était parfaite!

Ten years ago today, the Archdiocese of Canada was blessed with the consecration of our beloved Archbishop Irénée. His leadership, guidance and love have been a strength to keep us focused on Christ.

God grant him many years!

Ten bishops participated in the episcopal consecration of Archimandrite Irénée [Rochon] as Bishop of Quebec City and Auxiliary to His Eminence, Archbishop Seraphim of Ottawa and Canada, at Annunciation Cathedral here on Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Le père Nicolas Svetlovsky, de l'Église orthodoxe de la Sainte-Trinité, à Québec, a baptisé le catéchumène Raphaël à Rawdon le samedi 14 septembre. Son Eminence, son archevêque Irénée, a assisté à la célébration, avec le diacre Denis Letunouski, sa matushka et ses enfants, ainsi qu’un petit groupe de paroissiens de la Sainte Trinité. Ce fut une joyeuse occasion pour tous!
