The parish of St Maria of Paris in Hamilton, Ontario has been growing fast since its birth in the Spring of 2020 and the baptism of little Zenaida Miru Raveendranathan this past Sunday (June 5) marks yet another milestone in the establishment of this community.
This past week Archbishop Irénée made an Archpastoral visit to the parish of St Mark's in Yorkton Saskatchewan for the feast of the Ascension. Vespers and Liturgy were served with the Archpriest Rodion Luciuk (Rector of St Mark's), Igumen Vladimir, Deacon Denis and Archpriest Gregory Scratch (Dean of Manitoba and Saskatchewan).
A quick look at the worksite next to St Herman's Orthodox Church in Langley will reveal that we are finally starting to make progress after many months of delay! Our progress is all the more impressive given that the building project coincided with the confusion and extra labour occasioned by the Covid pandemic.
