Archbishop Irénée visits St Maria's in Hamilton

The Parish of St Maria of Paris Orthodox Church in Hamilton, Ontario was filled with excitement as they received their first archpastoral visit from His Eminence, Archbishop Irénée. All 65 people present were overjoyed to welcome the Archbishop and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to worship with him.

His Eminence presided at the Hierarchical Liturgy and delivered a homily where he reflected on his recent visit to the Church in Paris where St Maria herself attended. Further, he encouraged the community to continue following her example of service to those most in need around us.

After the service, the community gathered for a potluck fellowship, where they shared food, laughter, and conversation with their beloved hierarch. The visit of Archbishop Irénée has brought the community of St Maria's closer together.
