On Saturday 18 May 2013, His Grace Bishop Irénée participated in the consecration of the Church of Ss Peter and Paul in Quebec City, QC.
On Saturday, 18 May 2013, His Grace, Bishop Irénée participated in the consecration of the recently purchased Church of Saints Peter and Paul (Ss Pierre et Paul) in Quebec City, QC. This is a parish of the Romanian Episcopate of the OCA. The consecration and Pontifical Divine Liturgy were presided over by His Eminence, Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Episcopate of The Orthodox Church in America. His Eminence was assisted by His Grace, Bishop Irineu of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, and His Grace Irénée, Bishop of Quebec and Administrator of the Archdiocese of Canada (OCA). Several deacons and subdeacons of the Romanian parishes of Montreal, Ontario and the United States also assisted. We pray Many Years to the Rector of Ss Peter and Paul Church, the Priest Daniel Postalache, and to all his parishioners.
