Bishop Irénée ordained Deacon Daniel Friesen to the Holy Priesthood on March 2, 2013
On Saturday, March 2, 2013 His Grace, Bishop Irénée visited Holy Trinity Church in Smokey Lake, AB. Bishop Irénée was greeted by the parish rector, Igumen Gerasim (Power) and Dean of Alberta, Archpriest Phillip Eriksson, along with other local and visiting clergy and faithful.
During the Divine Liturgy, His Grace ordained Deacon Daniel Friesen to the Holy Priesthood. A reception was held afterwards, where the newly ordained Fr. Daniel was greeted.
