At invitation of His All Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, a delegation representing Saint Vladimir’s Seminary visited the historic Holy Theological School of Halki here December 16-19, 2014.

On the feast of St. Nicholas, His Grace Bishop Irénée of Ottawa and Canada visited St Nicholas Orthodox Church in Narol, Manitoba.

Vladika Irénée ordained Matthew Beynon (from the Mission of the Life Giving Springs of the Theotokos) to the holy Diaconate, along with Stephen Sharman, Yuri Hladio and Leighton Knapp (from the same mission) to the Subdiaconate.

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, will make an official visit to the Orthodox Church of Russia at the invitation of His Holiness, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow at the beginning of December 2014.
