It was with great joy that the monks of the Hermitage of the Annunciation received the visit of His Eminence Archbishop Irénée for the feast of the Holy Ascension.

On May 14, 2015, the Orthodox Church in America marked the 50th anniversary of the repose of His Eminence, Metropolitan Leonty, who served as Archbishop of New York and Metropolitan of All America and Canada from 1950 until his repose in 1965.

В пятницу, 8 мая, в канун юбилея 70-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне, в Генеральном Консульстве Российской Федерации состоялся торжественный приём в честь ветеранов войны. На официальном приёме присутсвовали главы генеральных Консульств Голландии, Казахстана и Беларуссии. В числе почётных гостей был приглашён и  Его Высокопреосвященство Иреней, Архиепископ Оттавский и Канадский. На приёме так же присутсвовали священник Василиий Царицын, от храма Святого Петра и Павла в Монреале.
