Visit of His Grace, Bishop Irénée to Holy Trinity Sobor, Winnipeg, MB

On May 19, 2013 His Grace, Bishop Irénée visited Holy Trinity Sobor in Winnipeg, MB, where he celebrated a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy along with the Rector, Priest Roman Pavlov, and the Archdiocesan Secretary, Protodeacon Nazari Polataiko. Before the start of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace tonsured Gerald Bartel to be a reader. At the end of the service, award medals of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and Apostle to America were conferred upon the servants of God Melvin Rusiecki, Valentina Hatten and Klementyna Rozkowiec. His Grace gave thanks for their life-long example of love for our Saviour Jesus Christ and their unending support of missionary work for the sake of Christ. His Grace also brought with him for veneration the wonder-working icon of St. Nicholas, containing a relic of St. Nicholas, from the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Ottawa, ON.
