Grand Opening of the New St Herman's Church Building, Langley, BC

On Saturday July 29, 2023 the Most Reverend Irénée, Archbishop of Ottawa and the Archdiocese of Canada lead the Hierarchical Liturgy at the new building Of St Herman Church, Langley, BC. The Archbishop was greeted by the clergy and parishioners. Before and during the Hierarchical Liturgy there were: Entrance Prayers, Vesting of the Hierarch, Lesser Blessing of the Waters, Tonsuring of Reader Ted Matson. Sermon by vladyka Irenee. The Choir directed by Magdalen Farley lead the music. Archbishop Irenée awarded the church rector Fr. Lawrence and Protodeacon Gregory Wright with Holy Synodal Gramotas for their outstanding efforts in building the new church. The video shooting done by A. Ovodov. After the liturgy Parish BBQ Lunch took place in the old church building.
