Chinese Missions Fundraising Dinner

June 11, 2017

There is only one week left to get tickets for the Tenth Annual Orthodox Christian Chinese Missions Fundraising Dinner to be held in Hamilton, Ontario on Sunday June 11.

The event begins with an Akathist Service at 5pm at All Saints of North America church, and continues with a Chinese Dinner at 6pm at Iron Chef Chinese Restaurant. Tickets are $50 per person or $100 per family (two adults, plus children under 12). Tables of 10 can be purchased for $500.

The featured speaker at the dinner will be Father Peter Heers from Holy Trinity Seminary, Jordanville, NY. In addition to being the founder and current head of Uncut Mountain Press, Father Peter was also the founder and first editor of Divine Ascent, A Journal of Orthodox Faith.

Money raised goes to support the Orthodox Fellowship of All Saints of China (OFASC), a cross-jurisdictional non-profit organization supporting the work of Orthodox Christian mission to the Chinese-speaking world.

The OFASC supports a large team of translators of Christian spiritual writings, as well as publishing a variety of catechism materials and online resources in the Chinese language.
