Celebration of 120 Years at Holy Assumption Church, Saskatchewan
August 28, 2022
The faithful of Holy Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Orthodox Church gathered on August 28th to celebrate 120 years of services at the rural parish, north east of Yorkton. The rain held off and a beautiful liturgy was held with his Eminence, Archbishop Irenee. After the liturgy and grave blessing the faithful gathered for the traditional sumptuous potluck. The few elderly remaining parishioners pray that they may continue the tradition of services at this little country parish.
