Archbishop Lazar was a speaker at the Global Future 2045 Conference

February 21, 2012

Archbishop Lazar was a speaker at the Global Future 2045 Conference, held in Moscow between 17 and 21 February.

Other speakers included some of the most well known physicists and technologists in Russia, as well as macro-history scholars from other countries. The conference focussed on new developments in science and technology, with a look at their impact, and expected new developments for the near future (up to 2045).

Vladika Lazar was the only clergyman to be invited to speak at the conference as he is well-known in the scientific and macro-history scholarly communities. The proceedings of the conference can be followed on YouTube by accessing GF2045.

His Eminence will be speaking at Oxford University in April, the Macro History Association conference in August of this year, and at the Global Future Conference in New York in 2012. This provides the opportunity to have Orthodox Christian representation at the important gatherings.
