Paschal Message from Archbishop Irénée

Dearly beloved Pastors, Monastics and Faithful of the Archdiocese of Canada, Orthodox Church in America, beloved in the Lord.
Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
As we complete our 40 days of fasting and prayer, and having followed our beloved Savior through His Passion, death and burial, we are greeted with the joyous angelic message to the myrrhbearing women, “He is not here, He has risen”.
Theses words fill us with the peace and hope that only Christ can give. Let us keep in our prayers all those of our brothers who are in difficult circumstances, that they may also see the light of Pascha.
