Ordination of Fr Symeon Price

On Sunday March 27, Vladika Irenee ordained Deacon Symeon Price to the holy priesthood at a Liturgy in Holy Resurrection Church, Vancouver. Also attending the service along with the archbishop and Protodeacon Jesse Isaac, were Fr Michael Fourik, the parish’s rector, and local clergy including Fr Lawrence Farley, Fr Richard Rene, newly-ordained Fr Peter Choi, and Deacon Gregory Wright.

Father Symeon received his master's degree from the Orthodoxy School of Theology at Trinity College, Toronto.  

Father Symeon was ordained to continue serving as second priest at his home parish of St Herman of Alaska, in Langley, BC, as well as functioning as a supply priest for the BC Deanery. He will also begin to undertake a ministry of providing monthly Liturgies in Kamloops in the months to come. Fr Symeon works at the Ministry of Children and Family Development in Surrey, helping families in distress. He lives in Abbotsford with his wife Christa and their four children.
