the 1020th celebration of the Baptism of Kyivian-Rus
On July 27, 2008 on St. Vladimir’s Hill in the centre of Kiev Holy Patriarchs celebrated Liturgy Dedicated to 1020th Anniversary of Baptism of Kyivian-Rus. Concelebrating to the Ecumenical Patriarch BARTHOLOMEW I were Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia, Archbishop Hieronymos of Athens and All Greece, Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana and All Albania, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine, representatives of Orthodox Churches. On June 28, the commemoration day of the Holy Equal to the Apostles Prince Vladimir His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II performed the Divine Liturgy in concelebration with His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania and His Beatitude Volodymyr, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
