On April 17th, His Eminence Archbishop Irénée concelebrated the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the parish of St. Benoît of Nursie in Montreal, with Archimandrite Marc Pierre, Priest Dragos Giulea (Rector), Priest Justin Mitchell, and Deacon Nicolas Svetlovsky.

During the Divine Liturgy, he elevated Hierodeacon Amvrosi (Mlodzyk) to the Archdiaconate. Axios! Axios! Axios!

The 25th Anniversary of ordination to the priesthood for Archimandrite Marc (Pierre) was announced. May God grant him many years!

On April 4, 2016, Maconnel and Sons moving company began to prepare the Holy Trinity Russo Orthodox Church to be moved off its foundation. It has recently been discovered that the foundation after 88 years has become defective and is not repairable. The solution required would be to remove the old basement and form a new one. The church has to be lifted and moved so workers can remove the old concrete and place new concrete. The members of the church met on March 27, 2016 and voted in favour of replacing the foundation.

On Sunday, April 3rd, 2016, His Eminence Archbishop Irénée celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the new mission in Kitchener-Waterloo dedicated to "St Mary and the Brancoveanu Martyrs".

Concelebrating with His Eminence were Fr Didel Furtuna, pastor of the Mission, and the very Rev Alexandry Ichim. Over 70 faithful of all ages assembled to celebrate together. A festal meal was served after the Liturgy.

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon has accepted an invitation from His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople to concelebrate the Divine Liturgy of the Sunday of Orthodoxy at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George in Istanbul’s Phanar district on March 20, 2016. Also concelebrating with the Ecumenical Patriarch will be the members of the Sacred and Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.

The service of Holy Unction was served at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, Montreal, on March 15.

Celebrating were Archbishop Irénée and seven priests from the Montreal area: Archpriest Anatoly Melnyk, the rector, Priest Vasily Tsaritsyn, attached priest, Priest Aleksandr Janovski, Priest Justin Mitchel (St Benoit Church), Priest Nicolay, Priest Ivan and Priest Dragosh (St Benoit Church).
