Marriage of an Orthodox and a baptised Anglican
Question:
I'm an Orthodox christian, my girlfreind is not. We would like to get married in our church. We also have a child who is Anglican and one on the way, and we want both of them become Orthodox. I'm raising my family Orthodox, so I believe we could be married in an Orthodox church regardless if my wife is Orthodox or not.
P.S I would Like the Holiness's Blessing to get married Please
Answer:
- Marriage of an Orthodox and a baptised Anglican could take place according to the Russian Church Practice that the OCA uses.
- If one child is baptized Anglican you can bring that child into Orthodoxy by Chrismation if both parents agree.
