His Grace, Bishop Irénée visited
Holy Transfiguration Hermitage in Gibsons, BC On Saturday, November 5, 2011, His Grace Bishop Irénée, Administrator of the Archdiocese of Canada, and Protodeacon Nazari Polataiko, Secretary of the Archdiocese of Canada, visited the monks of Holy Transfiguration Hermitage in Gibsons, BC. This hermitage is the continuation of Holy Transfiguation Hermitage founded originally in the province of Quebec in 1977 by Igumen Gregory (Papazian). The Hermitage consists of three monks, Igumen Gregory, the Hieromonk Samuel (Panchuk) and the Reader-monk Moses (Schneider).
