Paul ("Pavel Ilyich") Miklachevsky, one of the founding members of The Sign of the Theotokos Church in Montréal, fell asleep in the Lord in mid-afternoon today, Wednesday 9 February 2011. A Parastas Memorial Service was sung there the same afternoon.

In order to allow for travel by his relatives, this is the schedule of services at The Sign of the Theotokos Church: His remains will be brought to the temple on Wednesday, February 16th; and a Parastas Memorial will be sung at seven o'clock that evening.

The funeral will begin on Thursday, February 17th, at 9:30 in the morning.

After the service and interment at Mt. Royal Cemetery, all are invited to join his family for a Memorial Meal back at our church: 750 St. Joseph Boulevard East in Montreal (one block east of the Laurier Metro station ~ use the St. Joseph exit).

PAUL MIKLACHEVSKY, one of the founding members of The Sign in Montréal, reposed on 9 FEB 2011 aged 91 years ~ together with his wife Marie von Hahn (+9 JUL 1988), they were "pillars of The Sign" who welcomed all into their hearts and home, and inspired all of us! We will all truly miss them greatly. Memory eternal!
