Blessing of Waters at the Yukon River. Mission of St Nicholas of Zhitsa.

After Theophany, 2009, Father John, and Matushka Anna Bingham travelled to Whitehorse, Yukon to serve the Divine Liturgy there, in the Mission of St Nicholas of Zhitsa. There followed the Blessing of Waters at the Yukon River, as shown in the two photos. John and Sharon Gryba are the "main-spring" of this Mission. It is they who keep the weekly cycle of Reader's Services in their home, in between the times that a priest, or bishop may be able to travel to Whitehorse for the Divine Liturgy, and other services.
