Dear Brothers,

Today, at the Spring Meeting of the Holy Synod of Bishops elevated Higoumene Irenee (Rochon) to be an Archimandrite.

After this, the Holy Synod elected Archimandrite Irenee (Rochon) to be Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Canada.

He will be Bishop of Quebec City.

We will address him as "Bishop-Elect of Quebec City", and he may be called "Vladyka".

Please pray for Bishop-Elect Irenee, as we prepare for the next steps at some time later this year.

Please include him as such in the intercession petition of the Augmented Litany.
