How I started to paint icons?
When I was 11 years old I found the icon of "Christ Not Made With Hands" in the garbage of the yard of the building where we lived. This event played the most important role in giving purpose to my life.
Education and Initial Career
1976-1981-Studied at the “Memory of year 1905” Art College, Moscow. Just after the graduation I started working as the restorer of icons at the Theophany Cathedral at Yelohovo, Moscow, and in 1982 painted murals in the Church of Dmitrii Solunski, near Moscow.
In 1982, when working as an iconographer in the Icon studios of the Patriarchate of Moscow, I began using the technique of egg tempera.
In 1983 -1985 I worked as the iconographer at the Saint Daniel Monastery of Moscow, were I studied with the famous iconographer Fr. Teodor Zinon . While at the Monastery, I painted four icons of Saint Daniel a month, they were the same and Father Superior ( Bishop Evlogii) presented them to visitors (mostly bishops) from different countries. I painted “Mother of God Odigitria” with Saint Daniel and view of Saint Daniel Monastery and 3-panel icon (skladen’) with Mother of God of Sign on the middle panel and Saint Daniel on one of the side panel.
In 1989 - joined Union of Moscow Artists

1981-1998 - painted icons for private collections
1985 - Altar Icon of “Christ in Majesty” – Plexiglass, Narvlyanskaia Church Voskresensk.
1984 - Icon of the “Dormition of the Mother of God” for the Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate.
1986 - Icon of St Metropolitan Philip's Mother of God - collection of Vadim Narcissov, curator , Tret'yakovskaia Gallery, Moscow
1990-1994 –painted icons for the “David” gallery, Jerusalem, Israel.
1993-1994 –Visited Paris, painted icons for Paris collectors,such as Olivie Kleman and pianist Irina Kataev.
1995 - Icon of Snt Harlampii, Red Polyana, Church of St Harlampii.
Important icons painted in Canada
1998 - moved to Toronto , Canada with husband and two children
1998-2005 - painted 25 icons for the Iconostasis for Archdiocese of Canada in the Bishop's Chapel of St. Silouan the Athonite, Spencerville,Ontario including the icons of the Main Row : Our Saviour, Mother of God of Yaroslavl’, St.Silouan the Athonite and St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow, Evangelizer of America; the Royal Doors, the Row of Festal Icons , the “Mother of God of the Sign” icon for the High Altar, the side Deacon’s Doors, four ornamental crosses and two icons of Seraphim.
2000 - Icon of St. John the Compassionate, St Silouan the Athonite Mission, Toronto,Ontario.
2002 - Icon of St Valentina, Christ the Saviour Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Toronto,Ontario.
