January

1                      The Igumen Irénée (Rochon), retaining all his other duties, was released from his responsibility as Administrator of the Cemetery of St Seraphim in Rawdon, Québec. The Priest Juan Pablo Ruiz-Gomar was appointed Administrator of the Cemetery of St Seraphim in Rawdon, Québec.

February

1                    Priest Roman Pavlov was assigned to Christ the Saviour Sobor in Toronto, Ontario, as Second Priest

April

19                    The Mission Station of St Nicholas of Myra in Toronto, Ontario was advanced to the status of a Mission. Priest Nicholas Young was released from his attachment to Christ the Saviour Sobor in Toronto, Ontario, and he was assigned Rector of the Mission of St Nicholas of Myra in Toronto, Ontario.

Igumen David (Edwards) was assigned as Second Priest at the Church of St Herman of Alaska in Emdonton, Alberta.

June

4                      Blessed the re-establishment of the Mission Station in Canora, Saskatchewan, temporarily under the protection of All Saints of North America. In addition to his other duties, the Archpriest Andrew Piasta was assigned as Priest-in-Charge of the Mission Station of All Saints of North America in Canora, Saskatchewan.

July

1                      In addition to his other duties, the Archpriest John Jillions was assigned as Ecumenical Officer of the Archdiocese of Canada.
The Church of Nicholas, founded in 1908, which is now at the Alberta Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, at Tofield, Alberta, was returned to the list of Churches of the Archdiocese.

8                      The establishment was blessed, of the St Maria (Skobtsova) Orthodox Outreach Centre, and its Chapel of the Protection of the Theotokos, as a part of the Church of All Saints of Alaska, and St Arseny, in Victoria, BC.

10                     The Hermitage of St Elias, near Dickie Bush, Alberta, was revived.

12                     At the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Sts Peter and Paul in Dickie Bush, Alberta, Hieromonk Alexander (Pihach) was elevated, and installed as Igumen of the Hermitage of St Elias, Alberta.

15                     Priest-monk Basile (Paradis), remaining a Member of the Monastic Community of St Silouan the Athonite in Johnstown, Ontario, was attached to the Sobor of Sts Peter and Paul in Montréal, Québec.

August

1                      The Hermitage of St Nicholas of Myra, at Gibson’s Landing, BC, was blessed.  The Monk Anna (Barkham), remaining a member of the Monastic Community of St Silouan the Athonite in Johnstown, Ontario, was assigned to this hermitage.

September

1                      Archpriest John Jillions was released from his responsibilities as Dean of the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Ottawa, Ontario.  Retaining all his other responsibilities, he remains attached to the Cathedral.

1                      In addition to all his other duties, Igumen Alexander (Pihach) is assigned as Interim Dean of the Annunciation Cathedral in Ottawa, Ontario.

1                      Priest Symeon Rodger was released from his attachment to the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Ottawa, Ontario, and he was attached to the Bishop’s Chapel of St Silouan the Athonite in Johnstown, Ontario.

4                       Deacon Alexei Vassiouchkine was released from his attachment to Christ the Saviour Sobor in Toronto, Ontario, and he was attached to the Bishop’s Chapel of St Silouan the Athonite in Toronto, Ontario.

4                      Priest Leonid Misnik, returned to the lists, and remaining in Canada, was released to the omophor of Metropolitan JONAH, for transfer to the Moscow Patriarchate.

13                    The Subdeacon Gregory Wright was ordained to the Holy Diaconate in the Church of St Herman of Alaska, Langley, BC, to which he is assigned as Second Deacon.

30                   The Archpriest Cyprian Hutcheon was granted release from his responsibilities as Rector of Holy Resurrection Sobor in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  He remains assigned to the Sobor, as Associate Priest.
The Archpriest Daniel Guenther was assigned Interim Rector of Holy Resurrection Sobor in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

October

1                      By the Grace of God, the Episcopal Ordination of His Grace, IRÉNÉE (Rochon) as Bishop of Québec, and Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Canada was accomplished by His Beatitude Metropolitan JONAH, and many other bishops, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Ottawa, Ontario.
Bishop IRÉNÉE (Rochon), retained his responsibility as Abbot of La Communauté Monastique de St-Séraphim de Sarov, of Rawdon, Québec.
Bishop IRÉNÉE (Rochon), retaining all his other responsibilities, was released from his duties as Dean of Québec, and the Maritimes.
Bishop IRÉNÉE (Rochon) , retaining all his other responsibilities, was assigned Rector of the Church of St-Benoît de Nursie in Montréal, Québec.

26                    The establishment of a Mission Station in the Name of the Holy Transfiguration in Huntsville, Ontario, was blessed.
The Priest Nicholas Young was assigned Priest-in-Charge of the Mission Station of the Holy Transfiguration in Huntsville, Ontario.

31                    Priest Walter Smith was released from his responsibility as Rector of Holy Trinity Church in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and he was attached to the Bishop’s Chapel of St Silouan the Athonite in Johnstown, Ontario.  He was also granted a Leave of Absence for one year.

November

1                      The Archpriest Anatoliy Melnyk, retaining all his other duties, was assigned Interim Dean of Québec, and the Maritimes.

8                      At the Divine Liturgy in Holy Resurrection Sobor in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Subdeacon Leonard Herrem was ordained to the Holy Diaconate.  He was assigned to Holy Resurrection Church as Third Deacon.

10                    Protodeacon Wilhelm Friesen was assigned to Holy Resurrection Sobor in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as First Deacon.
Deacon Taras Papish was assigned to Holy Resurrection Sobor in Saskatoon, Saskatchewah as Second Deacon.

15                    The Igumen David (Edwards) was assigned Interim Rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

December

3                      Deacon Ioan Sturzu was received into the Archdiocese of Canada from Archbishop NICOLAE (Condrea) of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese.  He was assigned to the Church of the Holy Martyr Peter the Aleut as Deacon.

13                    At the Divine Liturgy at the Sobor of St Herman of Alaska in Edmonton, Alberta, the Archpriest Gerasim B Power was received from the Ukrainian Catholic Church into the Orthodox Church.  He was attached to the Church of All Saints of Alaska, and St Arseny in Victoria, BC.

31                    Deacon Gregory Kopchuk was assigned to the Sobor of St Herman of Alaska in Edmonton, Alberta, as First Deacon.
Deacon Daniel Friesen was assigned to the Sobor of St Herman of Alaska in Edmonton, Alberta, as Second Deacon.
Mark Petasky, Reader, was appointed Secretary of the Western Office of the Archdiocese of Canada in Edmonton, Alberta.
