Visit of His Grace Bishop Irénée to Christ the Saviour Cathedral, Toronto

His Grace Bishop Irénée visited Christ the Saviour Orthodox Cathedral in Toronto on the third Sunday of Great Lent, the feast of the Veneration of the Cross.
In his sermon at the Divine Liturgy, Vladika Irénée stressed the importance for all Orthodox faithful not only to take up their own crosses and struggle for holiness, but also to support one another in love and to bear one another's crosses.
Also visiting the cathedral was Archbishop Lazar from All Saints of North America monastery in BC, who brought with him relics of St Basil the Great, the Apostle Barnabas and Saint Ignatius for the faithful to venerate.
